Oppo, please learn me on car covers. The outdoor cover I have for the trans am is beginning to disintegrate, and after realizing that i dont believe a custom fit cover is really necessary, i have been looking at cheaper alternatives.
Also, choices for, covers are hilariously confusing, with some companies such as covercraft offering a “denim” car cover. “So your cover can weather like a pair of jeans”. what!?
Just looking for a breathable outdoor cover to mitigate rust and prevent my weatherstrip from leaking. Clearly there is a ton of marketing BS for these.

What is the weather like?
My brother spent $$ on a fitted Covercraft, while I went for a cheap breathable vw ‘Triguard’ cover.
Every spring he opened his car up and it looked exactly like when he put it away, mine was a gong-
show of swirls and marks where the cover rubbed and scratched. It all came back with a detail, but it wasn’t a fun surprise every spring
.

Seems like something I should investigate and write about. Im looking for a topic right now and I’ve always wondered with this one.

I would like to know too. I was shopping covers and they vary from $100 to “are you kidding me?”

You would be in a whole new field. there is nothing on youtube (except scotty kilmer) and google reveals lots of those fake testing marketing sites. might take you some time and $$ though.
